Mr. Hat is still my favorite part of Apollo Justice.

Apollo Justice is the best written and most well made Ace Attorney game. Fact. I hope 5 picks up after it.

Okay I kind of hate to admit it, because I adore the characters of AJ most, but

The game’s plot was actually really weak

Especially the final case, it bordered on nonsensical once the MASON system showed up.

In my opinion, Edgeworth Investigations had the best writing.

I’m not a fan of the Edgeworth games, which is disappointing because he’s my favorite prosecutor. Granted, I haven’t played the second (is it even out in the US?), but the last case in the first was just unbearably drawn out.

The best case hands down is the final one from the first game involving Gant.

So anyways, just wanted to say that while AJ was a good game, it lacked some things that we had on previous games, Since basically Takumi maked that game as a Big “FUCK YOU CAPCOM” so then, Even though i love Hobo Phoenix, i still find weird that all his pals just… Disappeared, i mean, thats not like On-Characters
Maya going back to her god-forsaken Temple, leaving Nick aside just like that…i just find it odd, i know we get the reference that they still have some kind of contact, but, after playing Ace Attorney, Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations…I just, cant.
Same goes for Larry, He was always there. ALWAYS.
Then what happened to Edgeworth? Francizka? Gumshoe?

At the end i liked Apollo Justice, it was nice, watching Phoenix like the dude who knew everything like Mia and Godot was refreshing, but still, it seemed so out of character that nick would take an Evidence just like that and use it.

He was Phoenix Motherfucking Wright, at the third game we got a pretty awesome prosecutor, Motherfucking Godot, that suave motherfucker is my favorite character, and then we got klavier…and it was a direct downgrade as a prosecutor, he was just the Good and Pretty boy who wanted to do the nice things, Sure Kristoph was one hell of a Character, and i liked all that 7 years of Plan from Phoenix to get revenge.

I just hope they dont fuck up Ace Attorney 5, and they keep the character development that we have gotten so far, even if it was odd, it was still character development, getting to play as nick now, would feel weird, It would be cool, we got hinted at the end of Apollo Justice that we may have got Phoenix, but Apollo is a good character too, I wouldnt like if capcom just cut it off.

In the end AP was a good game, but, in my Opinion it wasnt the Best in the Series, i would give it the Third Rank, while Justice for All would be Fourth, Ace Attorney Second and of Course Trials and Tribulations First Place because:

While I dont agree with the thoughts on Klavier I’ve realized in my most recent play through what it was that bothered me the most about AJ. In my first play though I blamed the Mason system, Apollo’s character, and Phoenix’s aloofness. But each time I’ve played it afterwards I grew to realize I liked the Mason system, Apollo really wasnt boring(he just hasnt had enough time to flesh out his character like Phoenix did) and recently I came to understand that Phoenix is still our Nick just with a couple of hard years and new pokerface. All and all it really is a great game… except one thing mentioned above.

The one thing that the games taught us other than responsibility for actions was the importance of friends and what bothered me about AJ wasnt that those friends from the previous games didnt all make cameos in Apollos life, that would be stupid, its that it really seems like none of them came to Nicks aide when he needed them seven years ago, especially Edgeworth. We better find out in game five that Edgeworth either had a good reason for not also speaking out during Nicks removal of his badge or that he made it up to him by helping him get back into good graces with the court enough to make the Juror system.

We dont need pointless cameos like in AAI and I still want the fifth game to mostly be centered around Apollo but some explanations to Edgeworths sudden dickbaggery would be nice.
